Fearless Journeys is launching another group trip to Guatemala November 10-19, 2023.

This trip will include a private guide, Francisco Gonzalez, the founder & CEO of Fearless Journeys. He has spent over a year living in Guatemala and has built friendships and connections with many incredible people across the country. Our previous three group trips to Guatemala included interactions with top level entrepreneurs and innovators across Guatemala, some of which have appeared on Francisco’s Agents of Innovation podcast.
If you are interested in going, you must make your first payment by June 1, 2023. We have a 3-step payment plan with subsequent payments due by August 1 and October 1.
All payments are non-refundable. You can protect your trip through very low cost travel insurance through our partners at TravelGuard (details below).
The trip will include:
- 9 nights accommodations: 3 nights at the Clarion Suites in Guatemala City, 3 nights at Hotel Atitlan on Lake Atitlan, and 3 nights at Hotel Casa Santo Domingo in Antigua.
- Transportation for the entirety of the trip, including airport pick-ups and drop-offs
- Boat transportation around Lake Atitlan, including visits to at least two villages on the lake: San Juan La Laguna and San Marcos La Laguna, and sunset cruise on the lake back to our hotel.
- Exceptional Guatemalan breakfasts every day at your hotels
- Tours and admissions included to Trova Jazz, the San Patricio Limon coffee finca in Palencia, Atitlan Natural Reserve and, San Marcos Natural Reserve at Lake Atitlan, the Casa Popenoe historic private home in Antigua, and the historic ruins at the Hotel Casa Santo Domingo in Antigua.
- Visits to the Plaza de la Constitución and shopping opportunity in the Central Market in Guatemala City
- Half-day experience at the Universidad Francisco Marroquin, where we interact with the leadership of the university and select current students, professors, and recent alums. We will also have a guided tour of the renowned Popol Vuh Museum with historic Mayan and Spanish colonial era artifacts.
- 5 Dinners included at top restaurants throughout Guatemala: Restaurante Kabel, Jakes, Casa Palopo, Restaurante Welten, and Como Como.
- 4 Lunches included during our experiences at the San Patricio Limon coffee farm in Palencia, the Universidad Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala City, Casa Zapote in the village of San Marcos La Laguna, and Caoba Farms in Antigua.
- Optional hikes included to Cerro de la Cruz in Antigua and the Atitlan Natural Reserve near Lake Atitlan
