Participate in curated activities across Miami with Featured Innovators of the Fearless Journeys community

Fearless Journeys invites you to join us in Miami October 26-29, 2024, for an exclusive gathering of friends and innovators. Enjoy meals and activities in Little Havana, Brickell and Wynwood, topped off with an opportunity to attend an Economic Club of Miami event in downtown Miami featuring one of the most innovative entrepreneurs of our time, Peter Thiel.

Cost: $250 registration fee. Register here to secure your space.

The rest: pay-as-you-go for all your accommodations and meals.

Add on: The Economic Club of Miami events are only open to members and sponsors of the club. You will have one option to apply for an annual membership with the club and pay a $500 fee, giving you access to events throughout the year. Another option is that Fearless Journeys will provide you a promo code to register for the event for $200.

Accommodations

We will give you the option to make reservations where you want. We know many people have hotel preferences and points to make traveling convenient and more affordable.

Preferred Option: Selina Hotel Miami River. As part of our Fearless Journeys partnership, they will offer you a $120/night + tax on their Standard or Standard Plus room. Please email fearlessjourneysLLC@gmail.com to request this option and we will connect you with our contact at the hotel. It’s a unique property and central to everywhere we will be.

Where will we be?

We will primarily be in Little Havana, Brickell, Downtown Miami, and Wynwood.

Football?

The University of Miami is playing rival Florida State University on Saturday, October 26 at Hard Rock Stadium (which is on the Broward/Miami Dade county line). We may not know the time of the game until as late as a week or two before. If going to that game interests you (or if you prefer to go to the game over other activities we have planned, please let us know).

Organized Activities & Meals

All activities including meals will be optional. We will organize and reserve everything. You pay for the activities and the meals on your own, for whatever you show up for. This gives you the option to come to what most interests you and skip what doesn’t. Of course, we hope you will partake in as many activities and meals as possible so that we can all be as fully engaged with the group as possible. As we get closer to the event, we will ask you to let us know which activities and meals you plan to join so we can make appropriate reservations.

We are working to confirm Featured Innovators in the Fearless Journeys community to join us throughout the weekend so that each activity will have a Featured Innovator to connect with and be inspired by.

Transportation / Communication

There are many ways to get to Miami. Once you are checked into your local accommodations, we recommend getting around by Uber/Lyft. There may be options to share rides with other travelers. We will coordinate and communicate by a WhatsApp group for the journey.

General Itinerary

Saturday, October 26

Arrive to Miami and check into your hotel. If you are going to the FSU-UM game, you may be arriving earlier – if the game is at 12:00 PM or 3:30 PM.

Our activity schedule is as follows:

3:00 – 6:00 PM Enjoy Little Havana at your leisure. For those who partake, we will have an official gathering at Mister Cigars, right in the center of Little Havana with Featured Innovator Bob Rubin. With over 30 years’ experience in wealth management, Bob is now fighting for your financial freedom. He also recently served a dozen years on the board of trustees at Florida Atlantic University. You will notice over a dozen cigar lounges and factories within just a few blocks area of Little Havana. A great way to get to know the people and the culture. You are also bound to have conversations with plenty of Cuban immigrants (including the owners) who frequent this lounge.

6:00 – 9:00 PM Join us for dinner and drinks at Old’s Havana Cuban Bar & Cocina with Featured Innovator Davide Proietti. He first moved to the United States from Italy to help transition his father’s private plane company. Today, he is a managing shareholder at Marko and Magolnick, P.A. Located right next to the iconic Domino Park, you will be able to choose from a wide variety of Cuban cuisine as well as a handcrafted mojito, while a Cuban band plays sets of traditional Cuban music.

9:00PM -- ?? Walk across the street from dinner to the iconic Ball & Chain bar & night club, which has been a staple here for nearly a century. Since the Cuban Revolution, this became the place to be for Cuban artists and patrons.

Sunday, October 27

10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Brunch at Balan’s Brickell with Featured Innovator Joseph Yonke. Brickell is now the center of the global hotspot in the fastest growing economic center in the United States. This area is always hopping!

1:00 PM – 2:00 PM After brunch: take 5-minute walk to visit local artist Joseph Yonke studio apartment art gallery in Brickell. Joe is part of the trend of young Americans moving from the northeast to Miami and he is already making a mark in the art world.

2:30 PM – 4:30 PM Take a sightseeing cruise of Miami – by boat! Or, browse the shops and avenues of Brickell including Brickell City Centre, an impressive urban shopping mall, recently completed in 2016.

5:00 – 7:00 PM Visit Wynwood – including Wynwod Walls and explore this popular, artistic, and revitalized neighborhood that has a lot of shopping, dining, and drink offerings.

7:30 – 10:00 PM Dine at Ossobuco Miami in the heart of Wynwood with Featured Innovator Eric Wind, who is now one of the leading authorities of vintage watches in the world. Bring some of your own style to this fine dining experience. This restaurant features an Argentine-inspired menu with a Michelin Star Chef and Grill Master, Guillermo Eleicegui, who gained experience at the Alvear Palace Hotel and Faena Hotel in Buenos Aires.

Monday, October 28

The morning will be on your own.

12:00 – 2:00 PM We suggest the group meets for lunch at Julia & Henry’s which offers a wide variety of great (and healthy) lunch options in a fancy, but casual food court atmosphere. This allows diners to choose different meals and still sit together.

For those adding on the Economic Club of Miami event (starts at 2:30pm), Julia & Henry’s is just a 10-minute walk to the Miami Dade College Wolfson campus in downtown Miami.
